Bank 2 sensor 2 = this o2 sensor is located right after the catalytic converter, on the side with the cylinder #2 that is bank 2. Since bank 1 is the rear one toward the firewall and has the sensors labeled rh it must be considered the right side of the engine. You start the count from the front, so bank 1 (cylinders 1,3,5) are on the left looking from the front (ie passenger side in the us).

Hi i am going to have a go at replacing my cam shaft sensor tomorrow. Page 49 says rh o2 sensor is bank 2 but the picture indicates that the right hand exhaust is the exhaust on the rhs if facing the front of the vehicle which would mean the passengers side of car. Is bank 2 the left/drivers side or the right/passenger side?
